Solutions

ENGINEER THE WHOLE VEHICLE.

Freedom Signal treats the vehicle as one technology platform. Placement, power, controls, communications, connectivity, video and operator workflow influence one another.

Six systems, one vehicle

Where each system lives.

Every system shares space, power and the operator's attention with the others. Select one to see how we plan it, including vehicle graphics.

Vehicle system layers

Plan the interfaces before the install.

A component can work perfectly by itself and still create a poor vehicle when its power, placement, controls, RF, data path or service access conflicts with something else.

Brands we work with.

Freedom Signal integrates products from established public-safety, fleet and vehicle-technology manufacturers. Brand selection is driven by the project requirement, vehicle, compatibility and end-user need.

Platform-aware integration

THE VEHICLE IS PART OF THE SYSTEM.

Ford, Dodge and other purpose-built fleet platforms provide different factory interfaces, electrical architectures, cabin layouts and upfitter provisions. We design around the vehicle rather than treating it as an empty shell.

Mission chain

VEHICLE → EQUIPMENT → OPERATOR → CONNECTIVITY → OPERATIONS

A vehicle upfit sits inside a larger operational chain. The strongest designs acknowledge the handoffs between each layer instead of optimizing one component in isolation.

01

Vehicle

Platform, safety architecture, electrical capacity and physical constraints.

02

Equipment

Warning, communications, computing, video, power and controls.

03

Operator

Reach, visibility, attention, access and actual field workflow.

04

Connectivity

Radio, broadband, CAD/mobile data and supporting network paths.

05

Operations

The dispatch center, RTCC, command environment or business system beyond the vehicle.

FROM CABIN TO CARGO

Every part of the vehicle has a job.

Integrated mobile command technology in a response vehicle
CabinControls, communications and data.
Organized electronics and equipment integration in a vehicle cargo area
EquipmentServiceable, organized integration.
Fleet of emergency response vehicles outside an operations facility
FleetRepeatable builds across the mission.
VEHICLE GRAPHICS + IDENTIFICATION

Graphics belong in the build plan—not on somebody else's schedule.

Freedom Signal can coordinate the complete graphics package with the rest of the upfit. That means markings are planned around body lines, warning equipment, cameras, sensors, antennas, handles and service access instead of becoming a last-minute handoff to another shop.
